He earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Arizona State University in 1987, followed by an MBA (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Phoenix in 1995. Whitney then went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from Arizona State University College of Law in 1998, where he served as an editor for the Law Journal from 1996 to 1998. He completed an LLM in Taxation from Boston University School of Law in 2021, further solidifying his mastery of tax law.
